Color In Action

Purpose:

Help participants see how each color shows up in real life — at work, at home, and in daily choices.

Build self-awareness and understanding between different personality types.

Time:

30–40 minutes

Group Size:

4–6 people per group

Step 1: Quick Self-Check (5–10 minutes)

Hand out the Color Code summary.

Ask each person to pick the one color they feel fits them most today.

They don’t need a test. Just gut feeling.

Prompt:

  • Which color sounds like you when you’re at your best?
  • Which one shows up when you’re stressed?

Have them share their answer in pairs or small groups.

Step 2: Color at Work (10–15 minutes)

Each group picks one everyday work or life situation, like:

  • Starting a new job
  • Working with a slow coworker
  • Dealing with an argument
  • Helping a friend in trouble

Then they discuss:

  1. How would a Red act?
  2. How would a Blue act?
  3. How would a White act?
  4. How would a Yellow act?

Each group shares one short example with the class.

Step 3: Reflection (10 minutes)

Ask:

  • What color do you like working with most?
  • What color is hardest for you to understand?
  • What can you do to work better with people who think differently?

Encourage short answers. Keep the focus on real life, not theory.

Optional Add-on: “Color Cards”

Print four cards (Red, Blue, White, Yellow) with the key traits from the handout.

Use them in class discussions.

Ask participants to hold up the card that matches how they’d react to a scenario.

Example:

“Someone takes credit for your work.”

Everyone holds up a color card to show how they’d respond.
