Expired Graduation Event

HOPE for Prisoners is excited to announce that our July Graduation Ceremony will take place on Friday, July 23, 2021, at 4:30 pm. The ceremony will be conducted at the Headquarters of “Our Friends” The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, located at 400 S Martin Luther King Blvd, Las Vegas, NV  89106.

We will be graduating 51 men and women returning to our community who are fighting for second chances and would be honored to have YOU in attendance.

Our guest speakers for this event include:

– Joe Lombardo, Clark County Sheriff, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department

– Punam Mathur, Executive Director, Elaine P. Wynn Family and Foundation

– Ja’Ron Smith, Executive Director, Center for Advancing Opportunity

– Josh Teis, Senior Pastor, Southern Hills Baptist Church

Eighth Judicial District Court Judge Susan Johnson will administer the oath to our graduates as they commit to remain productive, law-abiding members of the community.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Honor Guard will be presenting colors.

Pledge of Allegiance lead by Elizabeth Coleman, Statewide Reentry Administrator, State of Nevada

Cathi Campos will be singing our National Anthem
