HOPE for Prisoners Tuesday Night Huddle Up! This Evening Tuesday, September 28, 2021, from 6 pm-7:30 pm PST. You can join us via Zoom or view the event on HOPE for Prisoners Facebook Live. We are very honored to have my dear friend and brother, Pastor Malik Edwards sharing his story and what God has planted in his heart for such a time as this as we Huddle Up. Please join our community along with HFP alumni, mentors, and our family members who are currently incarcerated, as we stream live into the Nevada Department of Corrections.
Malik Edwards is a passionate lover of God and people. Malik is ordained as an Apostle by Bishop Bill Hamon and ordained minister by Christian International Ministries.
In 1999 after a dramatic encounter with God in prison, Malik turned his life fully over to God. He then began to travel to various churches giving his testimony. After receiving a call to ministry, Malik went to Calvary Campground in Ashland, VA for ministry training. The specific focus of his training was world missions and leadership development.
Malik, at 40, has been on over 50 mission trips and has traveled to 14 different nations, such as Israel, Egypt, Mexico, Honduras, Trinidad, and Tobago, preaching, leading worship, training and giving spiritual council to leaders. Malik is known all over the world as having apostolic vision, a prophetic voice and carrying the Father’s heart.
In the summer of 2007, He met the love of his life, Ashley. By the spring of 2008 they were married. Together they have 3 beautiful children, two daughters, Shaiel and Sanai and two sons: Caleb and Judah
A year after Malik and Ashley were married, they moved to Germany and pastored a life-giving church there. Feeling the call to come back home, they served ministries in many capacities, both within the states and internationally.
In 2016 they planted a multi-cultural and generational church, Relentless DC, right outside the nation’s capital in Northern Virginia. They currently reside in the DC metro area. Malik is also the founder of the Surge Network as well as creator of a clothing line, Relentless Apparel.
