HOPE FROM THE INSIDE

Please allow me to introduce you to my friend Adam Clausen who is currently serving a 213 year sentence for robbery under Federal Mandatory Minimum Sentencing Guidelines. I first met Adam while we both were serving time in a maximum security United States Federal Penitentiary. Even in prison, Adam always stood out because of his character and his integrity.   He continuously went out of his way to help others, to teach and to train.  In more ways than one Adam became a mentor to me. He showed me the tremendous value of how to not “do time” but to “invest time” every waking moment of my incarceration to improving the caliber of how I would live the rest of my life.  He helped me to understand that the journey in pursuit of personal development is its own reward — pay it forward and it will pay you back. I remain forever grateful to God for allowing our paths to cross.

“I would not be who I am today, if not for Adam.”
