π When You Donβt Know Where to Go: Call 211
Just dial 2-1-1 from any phone in Nevada to reach the Nevada Homeless & Crisis Services line. They can:
- Refer you to an open shelter
- Provide transportation info
- Connect you with housing case managers
- Help with food, clothing, or health resources
Available 24/7 in English and Spanish.
π What to Bring (If You Can)
Most shelters recommend β but donβt require β the following:
- Any form of ID (state ID, DOC ID, parole paperwork, etc.)
- Proof of discharge (if recently released)
- Medications (in original bottles)
- Essential personal items (toothbrush, socks, etc.)
Donβt worry if you donβt have these β go anyway. Shelters understand and will still work to assist you.
