With almost three decades of experience in the healthcare industry, Hamilton brings both a vision and passion for creating innovative solutions to complex problems. Beginning as the Executive Vice President of Heritage Health Solution (Heritage), Hamilton built collaborative relationships with clients by helping customers understand the breadth and innovative nature of all the services Heritage provides. One of Hamilton’s greatest passions is providing solutions to those individuals and family members that are struggling with substance misuse or suicidal ideation. He has been the driving force behind expanding the behavioral health services that Heritage offers and has leveraged his experience and entrepreneurial spirit into creating progressive programs such as Heritage CARES.
As the current President of Heritage, Hamilton will focus on providing transparent leadership and expanding upon Heritage’s vast portfolio of services and solutions; his strategic direction and initiatives will cement Heritage’s status as one of the industry’s top Integrated Health Care Managers. Hamilton’s extensive knowledge of the industry will also lend itself to developing new healthcare solutions and services within the Heritage Health Solutions brand.
Before bringing his talents to Heritage, Hamilton was the EVP of Sales, Marketing and Business Development at Avella Specialty Pharmacy. He was instrumental in building brand awareness and expanding into emerging markets. Additionally, he engaged teams by developing revenue growth strategies and analyzing data and trends within the healthcare industry. Over his 13-year career at Avella, his team was instrumental in growing the company from a Regional Community/Specialty Pharmacy to the largest independently held National Specialty Pharmacy in the country.
Hamilton’s passion for helping others extends far beyond the corporate realm, and he is proud to serve on the Board of Directors for Dreamcatchers, a non-profit organization that works to fulfill the wishes of terminally ill hospice patients, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society whose mission is the cure of blood cancers and improve the quality of life for patients and families.
Hamilton loves spending time with his wife Dawn and their three daughters and hitting the golf course whenever possible.
