Sarah Watterson serves as the President of Brightline West where she is responsible for all aspects of development and delivery of a high-speed rail system connecting Southern California to Las Vegas. She has a strong background in large-scale infrastructure projects, including the acquisition and restructuring of the Milwaukee Bucks and developing the 725,000-SF Fiserv Forum. Ms. Watterson also serves as the Head of Development at Florida East Coast Industries, Brightline West’s parent company, where she is responsible for the development and asset management of a 10+ million square foot industrial portfolio and +1.5 million square feet of transit-oriented development real estate. Prior to Florida East Coast Industries, Ms. Watterson served as CEO of Drive Shack (NYSE:DS), was a Managing Director for Fortress Investment Group, and started her career at Goldman Sachs. She graduated summa cum laude from Cornell University.
